E³ Children's Museum & Science Center

Dinosaurs, Sound, Light, Magnetism, Shadows Art... are found at the E³ Children's Museum and Science Center in downtown Farmington. For the younger children we have Tot's Turf, a room filled with activities that will delight and teach youngsters under the age of six. The museum hosts performances by entertainers and new exhibits are added regularly. School classes and families will find many things to do and learn at the Children's Museum.

Open (Tuesday -Saturday from Noon - 5pm)

Free Art Saturday

Saturday, April 26, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
All ages are welcome with adult supervision. Free Art means you are free to create your own unique works in our Activity Room with a variety of pre-selected art materials and mediums.

Attention Parents

Interested in bringing your child for a project?
Many of our projects involve PAINT and other equally messy materials. While many of our products are washable, we recommend bringing your children in "painting clothes" or a smock. We do have a limited number of plastic smocks for toddlers and preschoolers available for your use.

A Note on Development.
Our projects are created to match each child's developmental level by age. Keep in mind, your younger child may have a difficult time with our E3 @ 3 projects because the projects are truly intended for those children exposed to broader skill levels associated with school. Consider our Toddler Playdate every Wedensday morning or even our Free Art Saturday in which the environment is more suitable for our smaller visitors. We do ask that you remain with your child for Free Art Saturday to assist them with their projects and to monitor their safety.
